Humana store, Stockholm Interior at Humana charity shop in Stockholm 2010

With small funds and lots of recycling ALT designed the interior, New Memphis, for Humana Second Hand Shop in Stockholm at Timmermansgatan 23.
The shop has huge collection of eighties and nineties clothes and accessories. The interior is therefor a second hand version of the eighties design movement Memphis. We call it New Memphis. The original vinyl flooring in seven different colours is held together with a confetti of black half moon shapes. The old coffered ceilings are now bearable via a black and white striping. The lightning is made from plumbing tubes. All other interior elements are found or bought second hand.
